Mark has worked as a print and online journalist in the United Kingdom and abroad for more than a decade. His work has appeared in The Sunday Times, the Financial Times, The Scotsman, European Voice, The Washington Times, USA Today and Tageszeitung. Originally from London, Mark worked for several years in Scotland before moving to Brussels in 2008, from where he has covered European Union affairs. Mark completed a first degree in languages and a research degree in music prior to training as a journalist. He is fluent in French and has a working knowledge of German and Russian.
