- Bio:U.S.-born Eric J. Lyman has lived abroad since the early 1990s, with stops in Spain, Yugoslavia, Peru, and Italy. He was a staffer for UPI in the early 1990s and for Dow Jones, Inc. in the late 1990s, but has otherwise worked as a freelancer. His work has appeared in more than 250 publications including general mainstream newspapers The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, Fortune Magazine, USA Today, The San Francisco Chronicle, The Houston Chronicle, and The Washington Times, plus numerous niche publications including The Hollywood Reporter, Wine & Spirits, Latin Trade, the Huffington Post, and NationalGeographic.com. He is fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian.
