Bio:

Timothy is a free-lance writer, editor and journalist in Manila, Philippines, covering East Asia and the Western Pacific. Timothy holds a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University.  From 2008 to 2014, he worked for the World Health Organization, most recently as Public Information Officer and Communications Team Leader for the WHO Regional Office for the Western Pacific in Manila, and previously as Communications Officer in the Tobacco Free Initiative department at WHO headquarters in Geneva. Prior to joining WHO, he was a free-lance writer, editor and journalist in Geneva for PeerView Press’s Doctor’s Guide and National Public Radio affiliate KERA, as well as such nongovernmental organizations as the World Heart Federation, the American Heart Association and the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative.
