KIEV - Despite his unofficial title of "commander of Maidan," Andriy Parubiy is now rarely seen on the protesters' main turf as he has been occupying parliament corridors since the Sunday ouster of President Viktor Yanukovych.

He made time to address cheering crowds in Independence Square on Wednesday, however.
